Responsibilities
- Manage Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Accurately record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, income statements, and balance sheets.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in time tracking and tax deductions.
- Invoice Processing: Generate and send invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding payments, and manage collections.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online/Pro and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Integrity: High level of ethical standards and confidentiality.
