Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Accurately process invoices, handle vendor payments, and ensure timely collections from clients.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll records and tax filings.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger system and ensure all entries are up to date and accurate.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; High School Diploma required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
