Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a weekly basis.
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely employee compensation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Handle tax preparation support and filing documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage is required.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid setting.
