Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledgers, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track financial data.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management review.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and Xero are highly preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
