Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to identify discrepancies.
- Process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring tax withholdings and deductions are calculated correctly.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Perform month-end close procedures and assist with annual audits.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero accounting software is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
