Join Our Team as a Professional Bookkeeper in Colorado Springs

As a key member of our finance team, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, manage accounts, and support our clients with their financial reporting needs. We pride ourselves on our modern approach to accounting and our commitment to employee growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid and invoices are collected promptly.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and file quarterly sales and use tax returns as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros preferred).
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP, Gusto, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
