Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
- Assist with payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate weekly disbursements.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audit requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
