In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of our diverse client base, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll and ensure all federal, state, and local tax withholdings are accurate.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) to maintain and update ledgers.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and support external audits.
- Generate invoices, track expenses, and monitor accounts receivable aging.
- Communicate regularly with clients to resolve discrepancies and answer financial questions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
