Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry and analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Assist with audits and financial reporting deadlines
- Train staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll processing
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Attention to detail with error detection capabilities
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Certification (e.g., CB) is a plus
