Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable/receivable with weekly reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management accounts and VAT returns
- Support payroll processing and HMRC compliance
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Assist with year-end audits and tax documentation
- Implement process improvements for financial efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years' bookkeeping experience with UK GAAP knowledge
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel
- AAT Qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Experience with payroll processing (BACS/RTI)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
