Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations with a primary focus on weekend coverage.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts weekly.
- Process and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting (2+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting without supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting is a plus.
