Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly bank deposits.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and filings.
- Monitor budgets and forecast financial performance to ensure compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Perform general ledger duties and maintain accurate financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required for immediate hire).
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
