Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage vendor relationships and answer inquiries regarding account balances.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting support.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to update ledgers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; high school diploma required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license is a plus.
