Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced professional to manage our financial records with precision. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software and capable of handling a high volume of transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal and regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile and balance accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with tax preparation support and payroll processing.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
