Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monthly close procedures with zero errors.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure all tax filings are up to date.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is organized and secure.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax returns.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies quickly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
