Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statement.
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform monthly inventory counts.
- Manage vendor relationships and process invoices efficiently.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
