Job Summary:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the financial day-to-day operations for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will ensure accuracy in all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing, while providing exceptional service to our stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including processing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger accurately.
  • Process payroll bi-weekly and ensure tax filings are completed on time.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and review employee expense reports.
  • Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) to track financial data.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
  • 2+ years of professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage software.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
