Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
  • Assist with monthly payroll processing and tax filing preparations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheets) for management review.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax documentation as required.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (Must have experience).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and basic tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
