Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with monthly payroll processing and tax filing preparations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheets) for management review.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax documentation as required.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage (Must have experience).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
