Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of all records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and prepare basic financial reports.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing system.
- Assist the senior finance team with data entry and ad-hoc accounting tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Willingness to learn industry-standard accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional filing tasks).
