Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations on a nightly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end close procedures.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Process payroll entries for the night shift workforce with high accuracy.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions required).
- Must be available to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
- High-speed internet and a dedicated workspace are required.
