Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on a weekly basis for multiple clients.
- Maintain general ledger systems and ensure all entries are error-free.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and financial reporting.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must).
