As a Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that our clients' records are flawless and their payroll is processed on time.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage and reconcile all incoming and outgoing invoices to ensure accurate financial records.
- Weekly Payroll Processing: Assist in processing weekly payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports for management review.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Update and maintain the general ledger system with precision and efficiency.
- Compliance & Tax Prep: Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Client Liaison: Communicate financial status, budgets, and expenditures to clients in a clear and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; High School diploma required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Reliability: Punctual and dedicated to meeting weekly payroll deadlines.
