Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Xero.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
