Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger using QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, trial balances, and payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and filing deadlines.
- Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time.
- Perform regular audits of financial records and assist with month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Pro/Premier and Excel is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax preparation principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
