We are looking for a professional who can handle the full cycle of bookkeeping with precision and ease.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure accurate and timely posting of all financial transactions.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger system, ensuring all journal entries are correct and properly categorized.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll data and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
- Tax Preparation Assistance: Gather necessary documentation and assist external accountants with year-end tax preparation.
- Audit Support: Maintain organized financial records and provide necessary documentation for internal or external audits.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling financial data and reconciling accounts.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial team members.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Professionalism: High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
