Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Reconcile accounts payable/receivable weekly
- Generate monthly financial statements for clients
- Manage VAT submissions and HMRC compliance
- Implement cloud-based accounting systems (Xero/Sage)
- Provide real-time financial reporting to stakeholders
- Conduct internal audits quarterly
Qualifications
- ACCA/CIMA or equivalent bookkeeping certification
- 3+ years UK-based accounting experience
- Proficiency in Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP regulations
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills
