Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process daily transactions and reconcile bank accounts
- Prepare VAT returns and HMRC submissions
- Generate monthly financial reports for clients
- Manage payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Liaise with auditors during compliance reviews
- Implement bookkeeping best practices across portfolios
Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience with UK SMEs
- Xero/QuickBooks certification required
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or equivalent
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table expertise
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
