Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment posting, and account reconciliations
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues with exceptional attention to detail
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate charge captures and coding compliance
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to optimize accounts receivable turnover
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, SOX, and industry-specific billing regulations
- Utilize billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or SAP) to process transactions efficiently
- Prepare monthly billing reports and provide insights to finance leadership
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical or healthcare billing experience
- Expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and billing platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to resolve complex billing discrepancies
- Professional certification (CPC, CPC-A, or CCS-P) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
