Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Generate, verify, and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner to ensure timely revenue collection.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Monitor outstanding accounts, send payment reminders, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy of financial data and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing inquiries and customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain billing reports and records for management review and auditing purposes.
- Software Management: Utilize accounting software to update financial records and maintain the integrity of our billing database.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks or Sage accounting software is essential; advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity in all financial documents.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume setting.
