Responsibilities
- Process and post patient/client invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor accounts receivable and initiate collection processes for outstanding balances.
- Reconcile monthly statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients/patients regarding payment status and account details.
- Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical or commercial insurance terminology and claim processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
