We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing finance team in Mesa, Arizona. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing operations, managing accounts receivable, and resolving complex billing discrepancies.

Responsibilities
- Review and process invoices accurately and efficiently to ensure timely payment.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and payable ledgers on a monthly basis.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, billing errors, and customer inquiries promptly.
- Prepare monthly billing statements and maintain accurate billing records.
- Collaborate with the collections team to follow up on overdue accounts.
- Assist in the month-end close process and prepare variance reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
