Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end billing process, ensuring all invoices are accurate, complete, and dispatched on schedule.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR) by monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue payments.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, invoice errors, and customer inquiries with professionalism.
- Process payments and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and distribute monthly statements and revenue reports to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to optimize revenue collection workflows.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in billing, accounts receivable, or medical billing.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential for data analysis).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors before they impact financial records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
