Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile insurance claims for healthcare services
- Generate accurate invoices and statements for clients
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and denials
- Maintain electronic health record (EHR) billing systems
- Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure timely reimbursements
- Prepare monthly billing reports for leadership review
- Train staff on billing procedures and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
