Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes, including invoice generation, submission, and reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries with exceptional professionalism
- Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Maintain meticulous records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to optimize cash flow
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls
- Train staff on billing procedures and system updates
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with healthcare or financial services billing a plus
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) credential desirable
