Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, submission, and reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account discrepancies through meticulous research
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems
- Collaborate with insurance providers and clients to resolve claim denials
- Generate monthly billing reports and analyze aging accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOX, and industry billing regulations
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and software proficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar billing software
- Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare or financial services environment
