- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy across multiple payers
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and claim rejections
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and audit billing documentation
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture integrity
- Implement process improvements to reduce AR days and enhance efficiency
- Stay current with CMS, HIPAA, and payer policy changes
- Train staff on billing protocols and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in Epic, NextGen, or similar EHR billing modules
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Experience with claim scrubbers and denial management tools
- Proven ability to meet monthly billing KPIs
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Proficient in MS Office and billing analytics platforms
