Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 150+ patient accounts daily
- Resolve insurance claim denials and billing discrepancies within SLAs
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports and aging statements weekly
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document chargeable services accurately
- Implement CPT/ICD-10 coding updates per regulatory changes
- Train staff on billing software optimization (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Analyze billing trends to identify revenue leakage opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years healthcare billing experience with insurance verification
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in HIPAA compliance and revenue cycle management
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table creation
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong analytical skills for complex claim resolution
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
