- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery
- Resolve billing discrepancies and account receivables efficiently
- Generate monthly reports on billing performance and denials
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in Epic EHR and Medisoft billing systems
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
