Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for healthcare clients including claim submission, follow-up, and resolution
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations to maintain audit readiness
- Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve discrepancies through systematic analysis
- Collaborate with insurance providers and patients to resolve billing inquiries and payment issues
- Generate monthly reports on billing performance, AR aging, and denial trends
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and reduce denials
- Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation in EHR systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth)
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and billing regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage high-volume billing operations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
