Responsibilities
- Generate and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Process payments and post them to customer accounts accurately.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Maintain detailed billing records and spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve billing processes and reduce errors.
- Assist in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in billing, collections, or accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data validation).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
