Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile complex medical/insurance claims with 99%+ accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable ledger and resolve payment discrepancies
- Generate monthly billing reports for executive leadership
- Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve claim denials
- Implement billing process improvements using Epic software
- Train staff on billing compliance protocols
- Conduct quarterly audits for HIPAA/FDCPA compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with insurance payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expert proficiency in Epic Resolute and NextGen billing systems
- Deep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven track record in reducing AR days by 15%+
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with third-party collections software
