Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile customer invoices with purchase orders and delivery records
- Resolve billing discrepancies through proactive communication with clients and internal teams
- Maintain accurate billing records in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred)
- Generate monthly financial reports for senior management
- Collaborate with accounts receivable team to optimize collection processes
- Ensure compliance with state and federal billing regulations
- Train junior staff on billing procedures and system updates
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software (QuickBooks, Sage)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification a plus
- Experience in energy or healthcare industries highly desirable
