- Resolve billing discrepancies through detailed account audits
- Manage patient billing inquiries via phone and email
- Collaborate with coding teams to ensure CPT/ICD-10 compliance
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for leadership
- Implement process improvements to reduce claim denials
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant billing documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a US healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in Epic EMR and Centricity billing systems
- Advanced knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 forms
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with pivot table experience
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- New York State residency preferred
