Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment posting, and account reconciliations
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries with exceptional communication skills
- Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to ensure contract compliance and revenue accuracy
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to minimize outstanding receivables
- Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS) if applicable to industry
- Utilize billing software (e.g., Epic, Meditech, or SAP) for efficient transaction processing
- Prepare monthly billing reports and provide insights to financial leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in medical or corporate billing with proven accuracy
- Proficiency in billing systems and MS Office Suite (Excel required)
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or equivalent credential strongly preferred
