Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts receivable with 99.7% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies and patient/client inquiries within 24 hours
- Generate monthly invoices and reconcile statements using QuickBooks
- Collaborate with insurance companies for claim verification and appeals
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Prepare weekly aging reports and AR dashboards for leadership
- Train billing assistants on SOPs and system updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical or corporate billing experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Epic, or similar billing software
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) preferred
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS guidelines
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume transactions with precision
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
