Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile invoices across multiple payment systems
- Resolve billing discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Generate monthly financial reports and billing analytics
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations (HIPAA, CMS)
- Collaborate with collections team on overdue accounts
- Implement process improvements for billing workflows
- Train staff on billing software and compliance updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of billing experience in healthcare or finance
- Proficiency in Epic, Cerner, or similar billing systems
- Certified Billing Specialist (CBS) or CPC credentials preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with AR aging reports and denial management
