Responsibilities
- Review and process invoices for accuracy and completeness before posting.
- Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve billing discrepancies with clients.
- Maintain detailed records of billing transactions and financial reports.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external clients regarding payment status.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial audits.
- Identify trends in billing errors and suggest process improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
