Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers
- Resolve billing discrepancies through meticulous account audits and appeals
- Manage accounts receivable collections and aging reports
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture and documentation
- Stay updated on CMS regulations and payer policy changes
- Train staff on billing best practices and system usage
- Generate monthly financial reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Expertise in Epic or EHR systems with revenue cycle modules
- Proficient in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience with Denial Management and Appeals processes
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
