Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments efficiently and accurately using the bank's core system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, product information, and financial solutions.
- Operate the vault, cash drawer, and related banking equipment with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate daily records and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Refer customers to appropriate departments for specialized services such as mortgages or investment products.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; previous banking or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform mental math and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software.
- A professional appearance and demeanor in line with banking standards.
