As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of our bank, responsible for delivering excellent service to our clients while managing their financial transactions with precision.
Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with 100% accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and assisting customers with account issues.
- Open new accounts and cross-sell bank products such as savings bonds, CDs, and credit cards to meet sales goals.
- Verify the identity and credentials of customers in compliance with federal regulations (KYC/AML).
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist with maintaining the branch's appearance and organization, including the ATM and lobby areas.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Teller, Customer Service Representative, or in a cash-handling role is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform mental arithmetic accurately and quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) terminals, and banking software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a credit check.
